3. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer of Warranties

  • theArtisan provides services and content "as is" with no warranties.
  • No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
  • theArtisan is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Artists are responsible for the authenticity and quality of their artwork.

4. Rules of Conduct

Users agree to:

  • Use the platform lawfully
  • Respect artists' intellectual property
  • Avoid fraud, harassment, or spamming
  • Not interfere with platform systems
  • Provide honest information when buying or listing art

Violations may lead to account suspension or removal

5. User Restrictions

You may not use theArtisan if:

  • Under 18 without parental consent
  • Attempting to resell or mass-produce artworks
  • Impersonating others
  • Uploading harmful code
  • Using bots or scraping tools

We reserve the right to remove violators

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

6.1 Return and Exchange Window

All artwork purchases are eligible for return or exchange within 30 days of the delivery date. This policy is designed to ensure you have sufficient time to inspect your artwork and ensure it meets your expectations.

6.2 How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@theartisanworld.com within the 30-day window
  2. Include your order number and reason for return/exchange
  3. Our team will provide you with return shipping instructions
  4. Package the artwork securely in its original packaging
  5. Ship the artwork back using the provided shipping label

6.3 Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect the returned artwork:

  • Refunds will be processed within 15 business days
  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method
  • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was damaged or incorrect
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable

6.4 Conditions for Returns

  • The artwork must be in its original condition and packaging
  • All original documentation and certificates must be included
  • Custom or commissioned pieces may not be eligible for return
  • Artwork damaged during return shipping may not be eligible for refund

7. Shipping & Delivery Policy

7.1 Order Processing & Shipping Time

  • Each artwork is a one-of-a-kind piece, often shipped directly by the artist
  • Orders are processed within 2–4 business days of purchase
  • Shipping usually takes 5–10 business days domestically
  • Tracking information is sent via email after dispatch
  • Note: Some artworks may ship from different locations, so delivery times can vary

7.2 Shipping Costs

  • Domestic (India): Free shipping on all artworks
  • Framed or oversized works may have a handling fee (clearly shown before checkout)
  • Basic insurance is included with all shipments

7.3 International Shipping

  • International shipping available on select artworks only
  • Buyers outside India must email support@theartisanworld.com before purchasing
  • We will confirm availability, estimated timelines, and cost
  • Customs duties or taxes (if any) are the responsibility of the buyer

8. Changes to the Terms

  • We may update these terms at any time
  • Users will be notified of major changes via email or on the site
  • Continued use after updates = acceptance of new terms
